An Alumni Social will be held from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. followed by Dinner from 7:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and a Dance with a DJ playing all your favorites from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Need something for the kids to do while you are at the Alumni Dinner and Dance on Friday, October 30?
The Ruby C. Hunt YMCA located in Boiling Springs, NC is offering a Kids Night Out event for GWU alumni and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Activities include pizza, movie and lots of games!
The cost is $15 per child for YMCA members, $20 per child for non-YMCA members and $5 off for each additional child.

Come cheer our students on at this traditional Homecoming event as the North Side Girls vs. the South Side Girls in a football scrimmage. 7:00 pm. in Spangler Stadium. Free admission.
Join the Noel Program for the Disabled for a game of Beep Ball as GWU's impaired students take on faculty and staff. Following the game, give Beep Ball a try blindfolded!

GWU Homecoming Weekend is October 29-November 1.
As part of the Homecoming festivities, School of Divinity students and School of Divinity alumni are invited to a Reception with William Paul Young, author of the bestseller, THE SHACK, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the Concourse of the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center. The reception is free of charge and hosted by the Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity.
Location: Soccer Field, off Stadium Drive. Free of charge. Children under 16 require a parent's signature. Sponsored by the GWU ROTC.
William Paul Young will speak on "THE SHACK: Is God Really This Good?" from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center on Saturday, October 31, 2009.
This event is open to the public. Tickets are $20 per person if purchased by Octobver 16. Tickets at the door are $25 per person. Groups of 25 or more can purchase tickets in advance for $16 per person. The purchase of an event ticket includes a complimentary ticket to the 1:00 p.m. GWU Homecoming football game against the Stony Brook Seawolves.

Decorate the trunks of your cars or the back of your trucks/SUVs with a fun theme for a Trunk-or-Treat tailgate event that the kids will love from 1:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. until game time! Prizes will be awarded.

Food vendors will be available (Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge, Dairy Queen, and the Bulldog Quik Snak. Music will be provided by the band, The Masonboro Boys out of Charlotte, NC.
Visit the Communication Studies Hall on Saturday, October 31 from 11:00 .m. until 1:00 a.m. for a reception and art exhibit of paintings of Biblical characters by GWU faculty member Susan Carlisle Bell who is currently on sabbical . Free admission. The show will remain up for viewing over the Homecoming Weekend. Come cheer the Runnin' Bulldogs as they take on the Stony Brool Seawolves! Pre-game events 1:00 p.m., Kick-off 1:30 p.m. The 2009 Gallery of Distinguished Graduates will be presented during the half-time festivities.
After the Homecoming football game, stay around to watch GWU Men's Soccer take on Appalachian State at 6:00 p.m.
Join the GWU Board of Directors and the Office of Alumni Relations on Saturday, October 31, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center for the Alumni Recognitions and Awards Banquet. William Paul Young, author of the bestseller, THE SHACK, will be the Keynote Speaker.
